About Gato Tree Services LLC
Blackstone is Southside pine country: a railroad running through the middle of town, loblolly standing dark along every field edge, and a July heat that settles in and stays. Gato Tree Services LLC works it, taking down pines that have died standing, trimming hardwood limbs back off roofs and power drops, pruning the big trees around old frame houses so air moves under them again. Nottoway County storms arrive as afternoon cells with straight-line wind in them, and pine does not bend far before it snaps; the day after goes to cutting up what came down and hauling the tops away. Work starts early here for good reason, and by noon the yard is quiet again. A place looks twice as good with the dead wood gone.
