About Bryant's Clearing & Tree Removal, Inc.

Benns Church is a crossroads in flat tidewater country, where loblolly pines stand in rows behind the fields and the Pagan River slides toward Smithfield without hurrying. Bryant's Clearing & Tree Removal, Inc. works that low ground, taking out pines that have taken a lean, trimming hardwood limbs off roofs and lanes, and pruning the trees that shade a farmhouse through August. When a tropical system comes up the James in September the wind gets into those tall pines and lays them over, and the days after are chainsaws, a chipper and a road opened back up. Isle of Wight ground turns soft after a rain and a root plate can let go quietly, so the leaners get watched before they get a vote. A yard cleared back to open ground is a fine thing to leave behind.
