Sam's Fence & Deck Services

About Sam's Fence & Deck Services

Bellwood sits beside the Route 1 corridor south of Richmond, where warehouse lots, side streets and Chesterfield driveways all have to be open by the same early hour. Sam's Fence & Deck Services takes on the snow and ice end of that — plowing, clearing lots and drives, shoveling walkways, salting the places that refreeze after dark. Winters here are moody rather than deep, and the trouble is often a thin glaze on a slope near Falling Creek rather than a foot of powder. Handling that well is a matter of being out at the right hour, not merely the long one. When the first shift arrives and nobody has to think about the pavement, the work did exactly what it was meant to do.
