South River LandCare

About South River LandCare

Where the Little River bends through western Hanover, morning fog sits in the low fields until the sun burns it off the fence wire. South River LandCare starts its route in that hour, when the air is still and the sound of a mower carries a long way across the bottoms. Cutting, edging, trimming and spring-and-fall clearing fill out the day, from the river-side properties back into the streets of Ashland proper. A lawn cut in the cool of the morning holds its color better and stands up straighter, which is reason enough to be out early. By the time the fog lifts, the first yards of the day are already squared away.
