About Bloomistry

On College Avenue the Victorian porches wear their paint the way old towns do, and the crape myrtles along the walks go from bare gray bark to a riot of pink in a single warm week. Bloomistry keeps the lawns beneath them in order — mowed, edged, trimmed close to the fence pickets where a deck cannot reach. Spring in Ashland is loud with birds and short on patience; the grass grows two inches while you look away. The pleasure of the job is the after: a clean stripe running to the sidewalk, clippings blown off the brick, beds given a hard and honest border. Small things, but they are what a front yard is made of.
