About PlowPROZ

Snow tends to reach Arlington after dark, drifting in from the Blue Ridge while the towers of Rosslyn are still lit and Wilson Boulevard has gone quiet. That is when PlowPROZ starts — headlights sweeping a garage ramp, the blade set, salt going down before the melt has a chance to glaze over by morning. Arlington asks for a certain patience in winter: short pitched driveways, tight turns behind rowhouses, sidewalks that a whole block depends on. Done right, the pavement is dark and walkable when the neighborhood wakes and nobody quite knows what hour the work happened. From Ballston to Clarendon and out along the county's older streets, snow is the whole trade here.
