About Groff Landscape Design

Above Little Falls Road the lots widen out, boxwood marks the property lines, and a lawn has room to be part of a design instead of an afterthought. Groff Landscape Design works at that scale — mowing and edging on a set rhythm, beds shaped and mulched, shrubs pruned to hold their form, plantings kept in balance with the trees already standing. Late spring in Country Club Hills is the show: dogwood going over, the turf at its deepest green, long evening light running across the terraces. Autumn means leaves off the grass and beds cut back so the bones of the yard stand out again. A landscape looks its best when it looks inevitable, and that takes tending.
