About G & G Landscaping Inc.

January dawn along Williamsburg Boulevard: the hills white, the side streets not yet cut, a line of driveways waiting on somebody. G & G Landscaping Inc. plows them — the long ones and the steep ones, the walkways beside them, the aprons where the county plow leaves its ridge of packed snow. Salt goes down on the grades around Yorktown and Rock Spring, where a north-facing drive can stay slick right through the afternoon. The job ends the way it should, with dark pavement and a clear path from the door to the car. Then the trucks move to the next street while the sky is still going pink behind the trees.
