About Appalachian mountains services

Winter arrives here from above. Black Mountain takes it first, and by the time the ridge is a dark stripe against a paler dark, Appalachia has its share on the ground. Appalachian mountains services runs the plow through a town where the roads bend hard and climb harder, and where a couple of inches on a steep drive can hold a whole household in place. The work starts before the streetlights quit — pushed down to the pavement, opened out to the road, walkways cleared wide enough to carry groceries through. Getting people out of the hollow and on their way is the entire point.
