About Sunshine Turf & Landscape
Midsummer in Amherst County starts hot and gets honest about it by noon, Tobacco Row Mountain sitting hazy blue above the orchard rows. Sunshine Turf & Landscape works the morning end of those days — mowing once the dew is off but before the heat lands, trimming close around trees and posts, cutting the drive to a clean edge. Turf takes a beating here in July, so the blade is kept high enough to hold and the clippings are carried off rather than left to mat. Mulch and bed work fill the cooler hours, and cleanups arrive with the first leaves. Pulling out at midday to see a whole yard sitting even and green is the part that keeps the truck moving.
