About Mr. B's Lawn & Garden Care

Mr. B's Lawn & Garden Care keeps two calendars. One runs from the opening mow in April through the October beds, where mulch goes down dark around the shrubs and the lawn takes its last clean pass before frost. The other waits for the nights when central Virginia turns to ice and a Madison Heights driveway needs plowing, the walk needs shoveling, and salt has to go down before anybody backs out at seven. Both calendars end the same way — a yard, or a drive, handed back usable. It is a good feeling on a January morning to look down a cleared drive toward the mailbox and see nothing but pavement.
