About Alzamora Services Inc.

Some of the coldest air around Altavista pools down in the Staunton River bottoms, and what falls as plain rain uptown can arrive as glaze on the low ground. That's the kind of night our snow work is built around: the drive that has to be open by six, the walk that can't be a sheet of ice at seven. We plow, we shovel the corners a blade will never reach, and we treat the surfaces where refreeze likes to hide in the shade. By the time the sun gets up over the treeline, the pavement is dark and wet and going dry. Winter here is short on drama and long on early mornings, and we're glad to take them.
