About Victor Landscaping and Tree Services

Alexandria wakes slowly in July, the Potomac breathing fog up over Founders Park before the heat finds the brick. Victor Landscaping and Tree Services works those hours — mowing Del Ray's narrow front yards while the grass still holds the river's damp, edging the walks so the line between turf and old sidewalk reads clean as a ruled page. Along the streets that run down toward King, the crepe myrtles drop their pink and the lawns beneath them get raked, trimmed and fed until the green comes back even. Farther out, past Cameron Run where the yards open up and the ground stays soft, there is room for a real cut, blades set high through August so nothing scorches. The reward is simple and it is the whole point: a yard that looks cared for from the far end of the block, corners squared, clippings gone, the smell of cut grass hanging in the humid afternoon.
