About Ludy's Landscaping

Down in Huntington the land drops toward Cameron Run, and August settles into that low ground like water in a bowl. Ludy's Landscaping mows there in the early part of the day, before the humidity turns the air to felt and the grass goes limp under the wheels. Trimming along the fence lines, edging the drive, carrying the clippings off — the small things that keep a yard from looking overtaken. Late summer in Alexandria asks a great deal of turf, and the answer is patience: cut high, cut often, let the roots hold on. By September the lawns down here look like they came through it well, and they did.
