About J Diaz Landscaping

The day after a good snow, the hill at Chinquapin fills with sleds and half of Alexandria acts like a kid for an afternoon. J Diaz Landscaping spends that same day on the other side of it — plowing driveways along Taylor Run, shoveling walks and stairs, salting the shaded stretches that would otherwise glaze over again by dark. Somebody has to make the streets usable so everyone else can go enjoy the snow. The shift starts overnight and runs until the last drive is open to the pavement. Then the trucks head home and the salt finishes the job.
