About Chavez landscaping LLC

Up at the north end of Mount Vernon Avenue, where Four Mile Run marks the city line, the morning begins before the buses do. Chavez landscaping LLC is out in the dark on snow days, plowing the lots along the avenue, shoveling the storefront walks, laying treatment across the crosswalks so they are safe by the time the first shift moves. Wet Potomac snow is heavy work and there is no trick to it beyond starting early and staying with it. The satisfaction comes from watching a block come back to life — doors open, sidewalks bare, everyone getting where they meant to go. Then the next storm, and the same again.
