About CedarGrove Landscapes

Where the neighborhoods run up against the woods at Dora Kelley, lawns live half in shade and grow strictly on their own terms. CedarGrove Landscapes reads that — mowing at the height the shade wants, trimming around root flares, edging the walks so the woodland line stays a line. October is the busy stretch, when oak and beech let go together and cleanups run from one yard straight into the next. By the time the beds are cleared, the grass has that dense, short, settled look it only takes on in cool weather. It is good ground to work, this seam where Alexandria meets the trees.
