Campbell & Ferrara

About Campbell & Ferrara

Late April along Holmes Run the azaleas go off all at once, and the grass grows faster than anyone can quite keep up with. Campbell & Ferrara keeps pace — mowing on schedule, trimming the banks where the stream valley cuts through, edging the walks so the beds have somewhere to stop. In the shoulder seasons the work turns to cleanups: clearing winter's leftovers in March, then the long leaf fall in November. The reward is a yard that looks composed rather than fussed over. Between Duke Street and the parkland, that is most of what a lawn is ever asked to do.
