Calhoun Mulch

About Calhoun Mulch

Alberta grew up where two railroads crossed, and the old rail bed through town now carries walkers and cyclists along the Tobacco Heritage Trail. Calhoun Mulch works the yards of this small Brunswick County town, where spring shows up early and the grass is growing hard by April. Fresh mulch goes down dark and even around shrubs and tree trunks, holding moisture against the long, humid Southside summer. Lawns are mowed and edged so the line between turf and bed reads crisp all the way from the road. In a place this size, one tidy yard sets the tone for the whole block.
