Oasis Landscape

About Oasis Landscape

Late light is the best hour along Route 151, when the sun drops behind the mountain and the valley below Afton goes gold in the rows. Oasis Landscape keeps lawns tended in that stretch of Nelson County where pasture, orchard and yard all run together and a mower has to know where one ends. Grass gets cut on a rhythm the rain sets — heavy in May, unhurried in August — with string trimming into the fence corners and around every mailbox post. Mulch goes down dark in spring, leaves come up in November, and the beds are edged so the shape holds right through. It is a plain pleasure, standing at the road at dusk and seeing a yard sit properly in the landscape around it.
