About TLC Total Lawn Care LLC

On the Eastern Shore the sky does most of the talking, and Accomac answers with brick, boxwood and the long low green around the courthouse. TLC Total Lawn Care LLC works this narrow strip of land where a salt breeze comes off the marsh by mid-morning and the loblolly pines lean with it. Mowing here means reading sandy ground that dries fast and greens fast, then cutting a line clean enough to follow from the road. Edges get trimmed to the walk, clippings cleared off the concrete, beds mulched dark against the pale soil. Come autumn the leaves and pine straw let go all at once, and hauling every bit of it away is its own quiet satisfaction. A yard out here should belong to the light — open, tidy, easy in the wind.
