Turf Pros

About Turf Pros

Late September may be the kindest month for a lawn in Abingdon — cool nights, warm afternoons, the fescue thick and dark and finally comfortable. Turf Pros carries yards through that stretch with mowing, string trimming, edging and cleanups, cutting a little higher while the grass sets itself up for the cold. Dew hangs on until midmorning on this side of the county, and the mower waits it out rather than tearing wet ground. The finish worth chasing is even color and a clean line at every bed and walk, so the whole yard reads as one piece. Grass here gives a good return on regular attention, and fall is the season that shows it.
