Lundy’s Tree Service

About Lundy’s Tree Service

Abingdon's brick Main Street runs under a canopy older than the storefronts, and the Virginia Creeper Trail carries that shade out of town toward the high ridges. Lundy's Tree Service keeps the canopy sound, pruning weight off long limbs, trimming clearance over sidewalks and drives, and removing trees that have gone too far to hold. Southwest Virginia weather comes in behind the mountains and settles, and when a summer line storm or a February ice load drops a limb across a fence, the wood is cut out and carried off. Fog fills the Holston bottoms most mornings here and burns away by nine, which is a fine hour to be up a tree with a saw. Quiet work, and a yard that looks looked-after from the road.
