Ascent Landscape

About Ascent Landscape

Morning arrives in White City from the top down — Lone Peak takes the first pink light while the yards below are still grey and holding the cold of the night. Ascent Landscape works in that hour, when the mower lays a dark ribbon across a lawn nobody has walked on yet. Mowing, edging, trimming and seasonal cleanups are the whole of it, done street by street on the benchland where the Wasatch stands close enough to read every gully. There is real pleasure in the last pass beside a driveway, when the clippings are gone and a yard that looked ordinary at dawn suddenly reads as looked-after. By the time the light has slid all the way down the mountain and reached the curb, the crew is already a block on.
