About Green Ridge Landscape Services

West Valley City rises just slightly toward its western edge, a low bench of ground that gives a longer view than the flat blocks below it, and Green Ridge Landscape Services works driveways along that rise where the wind has a little more room to move the snow around before it piles anywhere useful. From up on that bench a storm is visible crossing the whole valley floor before it ever reaches the houses at the bottom, which gives the crew a few extra minutes most mornings to get ahead of it. The work itself is ordinary enough — driveways, walkways, the odd stretch of sidewalk out front of a corner lot — but the vantage makes it feel like working from the front row of something bigger. Snow up on the ridge tends to crust harder in the wind, so a blade has to bite in rather than skim, and the crew adjusts street by street. By midmorning the bench streets sit cleared and salted, looking out over a valley floor that's usually still catching up.
