Saratoga Mowing

About Saratoga Mowing

Late on a summer evening the sun drops behind the Lake Mountains west of Utah Lake, and the long light runs sideways across Orem's yards, catching every mowing line like corduroy. Saratoga Mowing works for that effect on purpose — cut height set right, passes overlapped, direction changed week to week so the grass stands up instead of lying over. Trimming around trees and fence posts, edging along walks and drives, clippings blown clear and gone before the trailer gate closes. It is one job done all the way through, and a mown lawn in this valley is the plainest kind of order there is. From Orem west toward Saratoga Springs, those straight lines are the whole signature.
