About Proud American Landscaping

Along the Jordan River, where the cottonwoods lean over the parkway trail, November arrives as a slow yellow drift that ends up on every lawn in the neighborhood, and somebody has to move it. Proud American Landscaping works that season through — leaves gathered and hauled, turf uncovered before it smothers, the final cut of the year taken clean. Earlier in the calendar it is mowing on a steady weekly cycle, with trimming, edging and a blow-down of the walks and driveway each time out. Fertilization and weed control keep the grass thick enough to crowd out most of what tries to move in. Watching a yard emerge from under its own leaves is one of the better parts of the job.
