Hernandez Lawn Service

About Hernandez Lawn Service

Water still moves through West Haven the old way, down ditches cut back when this was all alfalfa and onion ground, and early mornings out here still smell like it. Hernandez Lawn Service starts in those hours, mowing, string-trimming and edging yards from the river bottoms out toward Hooper. Between the fields that remain and the streets that replaced them, a well-kept lawn is its own small kind of farming — timed, repeated, watched. Clippings are cleared, corners are squared, and the strip along the sidewalk gets the same attention as the front. By the time the heat settles onto the valley floor at midday, the yard is already done.
