About Ernesto's Tree Service

Weber County wind has a way of making its own weather in Roy, pushing snow sideways off open fields until it piles against whatever stands in its way — a fence line, a row of poplars planted decades ago as a windbreak, the north side of a garage. Clearing a driveway here sometimes means less about how much fell and more about where the wind decided to put it, drifts three feet deep against one wall and bare pavement ten feet away. The old windbreak rows still standing between properties catch plenty of that drift themselves, snow banking up along their bases in long ridges that outlast whatever's on the open lawn. Reading the wind before starting a route matters as much as reading the sky, since the same storm can leave one street buried and the next one nearly untouched. The work is steady regardless — scrape to the pavement, break up what's packed hard against a wall, keep the walk to the door open no matter which way the wind decided to blow. By day's end, Roy's driveways read clear no matter what the wind did overnight.
