Most winter evenings in Washington City, Pine Valley Mountain holds a cap of snow to the north while the valley floor below stays bare and green enough to fool a visitor into thinking it's a different season entirely. JP's Landscape works the nights that don't hold to that pattern, when a real system drops down off the mountain and actually reaches town, clearing driveways and walkways before the desert sun has a chance to burn it off by itself. It doesn't happen often, which is part of what makes it worth doing right when it does — a Washington storm is rare enough that most driveways in town have never needed a shovel taken to them at all. Clearing snow nobody expects to see twice in a season takes its own kind of care, leaving a walk safe under a sky that will likely be clear again by tomorrow afternoon. Washington City doesn't need this kind of work often, but on the mornings it does, having it done well is the whole difference.
