About Mow and Flow LLC

Late August storms build in the south along the rim of the basin and come across fast, a half hour of rain on ground that has not seen any in weeks. Grass answers in a hurry, and Mow and Flow LLC answers right back — mowing on a schedule that keeps pace with a growth spurt, trimming fence lines, edging the walks, clearing the clippings and the twigs the wind knocked loose. Weed control earns its keep just after a wet stretch, when everything that has been waiting decides to come up at once. Feeding through the season keeps Vernal turf dense enough to crowd the newcomers out on its own. The best part is the look afterward: a short, even, rain-dark lawn with the light coming back in sideways.
