Gale's Total Lawn Care

About Gale's Total Lawn Care

Summit is a small place laid out between the Parowan Valley's hay ground and the red ledges that climb toward the high plateau. Gale's Total Lawn Care tends the yards along that stretch — mowing, trimming, edging, and the raking and hauling that come at either end of the season. Afternoons run hot and bright until a thunderhead builds over the rim and lets go for twenty minutes, and the grass takes that water gratefully. The work is straightforward and the result is not: a mown yard set against all that red rock and dry sage reads as a small, deliberate act of care. Come October the cottonwoods along the ditch lines turn, and the last cleanup of the year is the most satisfying one.
