In April the snowline climbs the Wasatch above Mapleton a little further each week, and the town greens up from the valley floor toward the benches. Peak Landscapes meets that season at the bottom and follows it uphill: raking out the winter, clearing the beds, then the first cut of the year on grass that has been waiting since October. After that the pattern settles — mowing, trimming, edging, fertilization and weed control through the growing months, with aeration to open ground that spent months packed flat. Late in the year the cleanup runs the other direction, coming down from the foothills as the color leaves the canyon. Watching a lawn come back from brown to standing green never really wears off.
