March in this valley starts under an inversion and ends with the fog burned off and the benches turning green nearly overnight. Greenly Scapes meets the season at the front — spring cleanup first, winter debris and dead thatch pulled off the turf, beds cleared, edges recut where the border blurred through the cold months. Then the mowing begins and doesn't let up: a regular cut, trimmed lines around trees and fences, walks blown clear each visit.
