Salt Lake Lawns

About Salt Lake Lawns

Northwest of town the Great Salt Lake throws its own wide, flat light across the valley on a summer afternoon, and everything green here is green on purpose. Salt Lake Lawns tends South Salt Lake yards with mowing on a set schedule, trimming, edging, fertilization and weed control tuned to how quickly this ground gives up its water. Cut it too low in July and the lawn tells on you inside a week; the whole trick is height, timing and not skipping. Done that way, a yard keeps its color through the driest stretch of the year and looks deliberate instead of accidental. On a valley floor at 4,200 feet, that is the result worth chasing.
