About Eardley Welding & Landscaping

West of Santaquin the country opens out toward the Tintic hills, the highway running off into sagebrush and dry gold, and in October the wind arrives from that direction with the whole season on its back. Eardley Welding & Landscaping meets it with fall cleanups — leaves gathered off lawns and walks, beds tidied, the turf taken down to its winter height. Through the growing months it is cutting, edging and trimming on a set rotation, the ordinary upkeep that keeps a yard from ever getting away from anyone. Outdoor work in this town has always been a little bit against the weather, and there is a plain satisfaction in finishing ahead of it. By the time the first storm comes down off the mountains, the yards are put away and so is the truck.
