Rocky Mountain Scoopers (Salt Lake County)

About Rocky Mountain Scoopers (Salt Lake County)

Long before most of Sandy is awake, Rocky Mountain Scoopers is already running its county route, plow blades down, headlights the only light on streets still dark under the mountains that wall off the valley's east side. Snow this fresh squeaks under the tires, and the whole valley smells like cold and diesel and someone's early woodsmoke. The route covers driveway after driveway across the bench, each one scraped clear and the loose stuff pushed to the edge before the sun even threatens the ridgeline. By the time commuters step outside with their coffee, the hardest part of their morning has already been handled by someone they never saw. It's a job built entirely around beating daylight, night after night, all winter.
