Prime Pest and Lawn

About Prime Pest and Lawn

Midsummer out toward old Crescent is dry heat and cicadas, asphalt shimmering by two o'clock, the mountains standing hazy blue over 9400 South. Prime Pest and Lawn runs its Sandy routes before that heat lands, mowing early so the cut grass never scorches and the crew works in shade where there is any. The trimmer follows every curve of curb and driveway apron, then the blower takes the clippings off the concrete and back onto the turf where they belong. Feedings are timed to the season rather than the calendar page, weeds get caught while they are still small, and the fall aeration opens the soil before the cold sets it hard. A tight, even lawn on a hot Sandy afternoon looks like relief itself.
