About Mountain Mowing LLC

At the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon the afternoon wind comes down off the granite all at once, cool and clean, and every lawn on that side of Sandy feels it. Mountain Mowing LLC cuts the yards under that wind, where turf runs right up against the rock and scrub of the foothills. Blades stay sharp, height stays up through the hot weeks so the grass shades its own roots, and the edges get held to a line straight enough to sight down. Fertilizer goes out on schedule, broadleaf weeds get pulled up short, and the plugs come out in fall so water reaches where it should. A yard that stands green beneath all that gray stone is worth the drive up the bench every week.
