Barlow Brothers Lawncare

About Barlow Brothers Lawncare

April in Bountiful arrives as a sound before it arrives as a color: Mueller Park Canyon letting go of its snow, the creek running loud behind the houses, and then the grass waking all at once. Barlow Brothers Lawncare meets that first surge head-on with the opening cut of the year, the winter grit raked out of the corners, and the trimming along fence lines that haven't seen a blade since October. The two of them work fast and talk little, one on the mower, one on the edges, the way people do when they already know the route. By the second week the ragged spring yard has become a lawn again, squared to the walk and striped straight across. From there the visits hold weekly, right through the long green middle of a Davis County summer.
