TLS Landscaping and Snow Removal

About TLS Landscaping and Snow Removal

Sugar House's old streetcar bed still shapes the diagonal of the neighborhood, and the brick storefronts along that stretch keep their sidewalks narrow in a way that fills with snow fast whenever a storm comes through at night. TLS works those blocks at first light, clearing the walk in front of each shop before the coffee crowd shows up wanting a dry step to stand on. Landscaping fills the crew's calendar most of the year, but once a storm is forecast the trucks get loaded with plows and salt bags instead of mowers, no fuss about the switch. There's a rhythm to a commercial strip in winter — clear the front, salt the curb, move to the next storefront — repeated down the block until the whole stretch is walkable. By midmorning, the shops are open and the sidewalks show no sign of the storm.
