About Landscape Solutions Inc

Above the city, on the bench where the university's research park spreads out in low buildings and long parking lots, the wind comes down off the mountain hard enough in winter to drift a lot shut in an afternoon. Landscape Solutions runs its crews up there on a schedule built around shift changes, keeping the walkways between buildings clear so the corridor never really stops moving. It's commercial ground — wide, flat, built for cars — and clearing it well means timing a second pass right as one drift starts before the first has finished melting. There's a particular kind of order in a lot plowed in straight lines against a backdrop of white peaks. By late afternoon, when the light goes long and gold across the valley, the lots are bare and the walks salted through.
