About Higginson Landscaping

June in Sugar House smells like cut grass and warm sycamore bark. Higginson Landscaping keeps the lawns on the brick-bungalow streets near the park, where old catalpas shed their white flowers across turf that has to be mowed regardless. Weekly mowing, edging along the driveway seams, trimming what the deck leaves behind, cleanups when the season turns over. It is unglamorous, and it is the entire thing: a yard that looks tended from the sidewalk every single week, with no one having to think about it. By dusk the long green bowl of the park fills with people, and the lawns up the street read like an extension of it.
