About GreenGuard Lawn and Pest Solutions

Above Foothill Drive the valley strikes a bargain: sagebrush and rabbitbrush on the bench, lawn below the fence line, and about a yard of ground where the two argue it out. GreenGuard Lawn and Pest Solutions works that seam on the east side of Salt Lake City, where dry wind pours down off Red Butte in August and pulls the moisture out of turf by mid-afternoon. Mowing, edging, fertilization, weed control — ordinary rounds kept on time, which is the real reason a foothill lawn stays green instead of drifting toward the color of the hillside behind it. The payoff is standing at the top of a sloped yard and watching it hold that green unbroken to the street. Then the shadow of the ridge comes over early and the whole block cools in a hurry.
