About Advanced Tree and Plow Experts

Before the valley below has stirred, the first light climbs the ridge above City Creek Canyon, turning the peaks the color of a struck match while the streets are still dark and unplowed. That's when this tree-and-plow crew goes out, familiar with how a heavy, wet snow can bend a limb low enough to threaten a driveway by morning. They run the blade down the block first, clearing driveway after driveway until the pavement shows through in a clean gray stripe. It's satisfying work, done at an hour when the city belongs mostly to the plows and the mountain light. By the time the rest of the street wakes up, the driveway is bare and the walk is safe underfoot.
