About Bluegrass Lawn Care LLC

Kentucky bluegrass in a valley this dry is a small act of faith, and Roy is full of it — block after block of green held together by water, timing and a sharp blade. Bluegrass Lawn Care mows, edges and trims on a schedule the grass can actually live with, cutting tall through the July heat when the ground bakes and the pavement gives its warmth back well past dinner. Aeration goes in during the cool weeks, fertilizing and weed control land when they will do the most, and the leaves come off before the first hard freeze sets in. The best mornings are the ones with dew still down, wheel tracks running clean and the color coming up two shades darker behind the machine. That is the whole ambition here: turf that looks like it belongs, even though it had to be persuaded.
