About Country Boy Services

April in this country is loud with water. Lake Fork comes down high off the snowpack, the ditches wake up all at once, and every Roosevelt lawn emerges from winter matted, gray and badly in need of hands. Country Boy Services starts there — raking out the thatch, clearing the winter litter, taking that first cautious cut — and then carries the yard forward with regular mowing, trimming and edging through the long bright summer. It is work paced by the ground itself rather than by a calendar. By the time June heat arrives, the lawn looks as though it never slept at all.
