Turf Worx

About Turf Worx

Along the Provo River Trail, the cottonwoods drop their last leaves right about the time Turf Worx starts eyeing the forecast for the season's first real storm. Lawn care built this business, reading turf the way other crews read weather, and that same attention shifts every winter to driveways and walkways strung along the river neighborhoods and up toward the bench. A storm off Utah Lake tends to hit these low-lying blocks harder than the higher ground, wet heavy snow that has to be pushed rather than blown, and the crew works it early before the weight sets in. Walks get cleared to bare concrete, salt laid at the door before anyone steps out for work, driveways squared off so a car can back out without catching a hidden drift. When the river trail finally clears again each spring, the same crew is already back with mowers, tending the same ground a different way.
