Viridian

About Viridian

A late-summer thunderstorm crosses the Wasatch fast, soaks Pleasant Grove for twenty minutes, and leaves every lawn in town a shade greener than it was at lunch. Viridian is named for that color and works toward it the slow way — mowing at a height that shades the soil, feeding on a rhythm, taking weeds before they can crowd the turf, aerating once the ground has gone tight. The small details finish it: clean edges, trimming where the mower cannot sit flat, the walks left bare. A lawn that reads as one solid green from the sidewalk is a whole season of little decisions stacked up. Lawn care for Pleasant Grove and its neighbors.
