Rocky Mountain Exteriors

About Rocky Mountain Exteriors

From the open ground west of Ogden, Plain City's farmhouses catch every gust that comes down off the Wasatch, and the gutters along their eaves fill with ice long before the driveways below ever see a plow. Rocky Mountain Exteriors works the outside of a house in every season, and winter means climbing where needed to knock ice loose from an eave before it works its way under the shingles, then coming back down to clear the drive and the walk to the door. There's a particular satisfaction in a gutter running clean again, water finally able to move instead of freezing solid against the fascia. The crew moves farm to farm across the flats, plowing long driveways that see more wind-drift than snowfall, salting front steps where a north-facing porch never quite gets the sun. By the close of a storm, the house stands with its lines clean top to bottom, snow pushed back from every edge it might have damaged.
